Agriculture and Food
SNPCE aims to ensure the organisation and preparation of strategic sectors of the State to deal with crisis situations, with the aim of ensuring, in particular, the freedom and continuity of government action, the regular functioning of essential State services, and the safety and well-being of the population. It comprises the National Civil Emergency Planning Council (CNPCE) and the Emergency Planning Committees, including the Agriculture and Food Emergency Planning Committee (CPEAA).
CNPCE's mission is to ‘coordinate the national effort to organise and prepare strategic sectors of the State for growing challenges and threats, increasing national resilience to withstand and recover from crisis situations, in order to ensure the freedom and continuity of government action, the regular functioning of essential State services and the safety and well-being of the population.’ the CPEAA, within its sphere of responsibility, will seek to ensure unique contributions in matters of agriculture and food.
